Woman Sues California Over Bigfoot Crestline, California resident Claudia Ackley made headlines in 2018 when she announced that she was suing the state of California and the San Bernardino Superior Court for being derelict in their duty to acknowledge the existence of Bigfoot.

On March 27th, 2017, Claudia and her two children were hiking in the San Bernardino National Forest near Lake Arrowhead when they came across something bizarre.

As dusk was rolling in, the trio was making their way through the winding paths when suddenly they froze in fear.

Scattered showers have now dampened neighborhoods from coasts to the mountains.

Here's what it looked like in Crestline tonight as the rain clouds left downtown blanketed in fog.

It's what it looked like on the drive up to Big Bear as well.

San Bernardino's maybe 65 miles or so.

Then you turn north here up into the mountains, see? And there's Crestline.

There you are.

At least that's where you can get directions to Hillcrest Lodge.

And his business partner, a man by the name of Elmer Wrightson.

Yeah.

Well, like they always do this time of year, they all went up to Crestline Hillcrest Lodge for a few days.

So? Nora phoned me just before I put in that call to you.

This is not heavy.

Rainfall are higher elevations, seeing some moisture out toward Crestline and even out toward the IE.

But watch as you head farther South down into Orange County.

even Lake Elsinore, mostly dry.

We are already seeing light showers moving through the region.

It's not very much, just some light rain over Lake Arrowhead to start off the day.

So our higher elevations, Big Bear, even Crestline, you have been seeing just a little bit of that light moisture.

And then we're also seeing several cells moving across the 101 now into downtown Los Angeles and even up toward the San Fernando Valley.

The San Bernardino County community saw some debris flows.

Drivers also having to maneuver around the winding slick roads, but there were no major issues reported.

So if you do wake up to that heavier rainfall, just know it's going to move out pretty quickly.

Big Bear Crestline light rain for you.

We are seeing a little bit of snow out there toward Wrightwood and here's some of those stronger cells just starting to push it in the IE.

So the windshield wipers will be working this morning as you hit the road.

But as we head out towards Orange County, you'll notice really light showers popping up out toward Mission Viejo, Foothill Ranch.

As we push farther north, look at this, a really strong cell.

Just starting to push through San Bernardino up toward Crestline.

So just know if you wake up to that heavy rainfall this morning, it is most likely going to be brief as the cell system moves through.

I was on my phone and then I didn't know where I landed.

And, you know, that I don't live in near Big Bear or at that time it was Crestline, California, because that's where my sister used to live.

And they used to live, you know, near the woods and they had a cabin and everything, a house cabin.
