Creep

Today we are looking at the 2014 found footage film.

Creep, starring Mark Duplass and the film's co-writer, director, Patrick Bryce.

Yes, who plays Aaron.

And so Creep, yeah.

The only kind of Creep that I want is TLC.

Not the Duplass Creep.

No thanks.

And this is one that, again, I think a fascinating film to me and that came across the radar as I am anticipating coming from you as a question here, right, of how did this one come upon the cultural radar for me.

Yeah, you'd think nothing could scare this father-daughter duo.

18-year-old Ora is part of the Coven Academy on Freeform, and her dad just dropped season three of the TV sequel to his terrifying Creep film franchise, The Creep Tapes, on Shudder with her in it.

I was not allowed to watch the Creep movies for a very long time.

I don't understand sometimes why people do think he's scary.

I feel like he is just...

I guess the way to say it is low budget is this week.

We're going over the first Creep movie and we are not, and I repeat...

We are not going to be covering any of the other creep related franchise stuff because this movie is pretty popular and it got like five sequels and a TV show with at least three seasons to my knowledge.

So we're not going to be covering that.

Just because...

Wait, what was that?

Well, you gotta watch the rest of the Creep movies, then.

he's in he's in back rooms he's the scientist at the end of back rooms oh yeah but i don't want to watch the rest of the creep movies but i i do want to see him acting good because like there were times in which i like it was it was like i could see this just being a real dude that's being like weird and and stuff like that especially the the bits where he just kind of like randomly ran away i was like i i do that sometimes like i you know like i this is something that like if you're being weird with your friends that's just something you you do and if you're insane and think this guy's your friend then i like i guess that you would act that way but I don't know.

Well, I've watched The League multiple times, so maybe not, but I still can't disassociate him from The League.

So it always throws me off, despite the fact that he's, you know, great in horror, like Creep, Creep 2, the Creep tapes.

Fantastic.

We never did creep, though.

Here is the second horror movie review this October on the podcast.

This film was called Creep.

It came out in 2014.

It spawned a sequel after that.

So to me, it was kind of like watching it again the first time.

Because I just didn't remember it.

So let's talk about the movie Creep.

It's a found footage psychological horror movie directed by Patrick Bryce, who also stars in the movie.
