CREB

Protein kinase A can modify other proteins and influence signaling pathways that eventually reach the machinery controlling gene transcription.

One well-known player in this process is called CREB.

CREB is a transcription factor.

A transcription factor is essentially a protein involved in controlling whether particular genes are expressed.

So, we already had part of the story.

Cyclic AMP increases.

Protein kinase A becomes involved.

CREB becomes involved.

Then we have mitochondrial brain energy support, whereby humanin restored impaired mitochondrial bioenergetics after TBI, including oxygen consumption capacity, making this one of its strongest mechanistic benefits.

Then we have memory and cognitive recovery, whereby humanin normalized TBI-related memory deficits and restored synaptic proteins involved in learning and memory, including synapsin one and P-CREB.

Then we have neuroinflammatory balance, whereby humanin reduced multiple inflammatory cytokine signals following TBI and attenuated hippocampal inflammatory signaling and astrocyte activation.

And then we have synaptic plasticity and neuronal resilience, where newer TBI work found that humanin helped restore synaptic proteins, including synapsin one and PSD ninety-five, and normalized pathways involved in plasticity and neuronal function.

So there's like nearly 25 books now or something.

So the CREB gene is one of the – I spoke about that in one of the very early books.

But essentially, it's a gene that basically it's one of many.

Nothing ever works in isolation.

So I say with caution, yes, the CREB gene is activated.

It plays a very big role in switching on the process of wiring in what you're hearing to thoughts.

So basically, as I mentioned, we have this cloud system.

And those proteins hold information in the form of vibrations.
