Creature Commandos

"Lanterns" is so specific.

It started with "Creature Commandos." That was hella specific.

"Creature Commandos" for sure.

"Peacemaker" was specific, and, and I think that-

Yeah, it's cool, man

... going from "Creature Commandos" to "Superman" to "Peacemaker" showed kind of a proof of concept.

And then this year we get "Lanterns" or we get "Supergirl" into "Lanterns" into like the lead up-- "Clayface" at the end of this year, but leading up to "Man of Tomorrow", we've got this.

I feel like there's a mood balancing act that they're doing-

Think about it, though.

Guardians, Suicide Squad, Creature Commandos, and then all those weird people in Superman, right? Like Ben Morpho and

Mr.

Terrific.

Which they do, again, you'll watch it some way at Kirkland, but they do in the show, the Guardians are like, we don't give a shit about race because like they look at the humans as just one they're like we kind of look at you all's pathetic like not because like because someone's like oh you say that because i'm brown they're like no we look at you all the same you all suck you're human like it like they look at earth as like this like kind of not wasteland but this like off the side we're like yeah like until a ring gets there like you don't really care about earth like earth just like hanging out over there they got some metas but like um yeah i'm excited for you to watch eventually but like i what i gotta circle back to and i'll bring kirkland on this too i really don't understand how you feel that with clayface i think clayface either way the only way i think it makes a big difference if it has like an obsession type of run where he just blows up i think it's gonna come out have a low budget and make money and it's gonna make enough of a profit but i think like it'll be a win but i don't think it's gonna be like a mask like oh man we're really got lanterns clayface backpack for quality that's good but i also don't think of bombs like i don't think that really hurts the dc universe either because it's just like i can just see already people it's gonna be the same way people which i was always saying was a bad idea but like oh who greenlit a supergirl movie right after superman if clayface bombs everything like why the fuck would you have done a clayface movie without batman yet like i think what unless clayface is massive i don't think if it fails or wins it doesn't really matter it's so like off to the side i don't know i couldn't wait to assist it feels this is you know you know clave is a big deal i think it just it's a good ball it's like it's not as it sounds bad it's not as inconsequential as a creature commandos but i feel like it's like A step above that, because Creature Command is like, okay, show's good, this is nice, but I don't think if that would have sucked, it would have been like, oh, fuck, man, like, man, if Clayface sucks, I'm not looking at Man of Tomorrow like, oh, fuck, I'm looking at Man of Tomorrow the same way either way.

It wouldn't help, of course, if it bombs, of course, I'm not saying that, but I just feel like it's not, like, it's a non-sequitur rating.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is where the second meaning behind the title of the episode Weenie comes into play.

First off, after Creature Commandos and Peacemaker Season 2, it is clear that the DCU continues to show what separates them from the MCU, and right now that is nudity and sex is something that they will frequently have on their [laughs] TV shows.

Now, secondly, I love how Will uses his nekkedness as a form of power insemination in this moment, which is kinda different from when we normally see people nekked.

They use it as like a, a moment of insecurity or being afraid, but Will does the opposite of that.

Clayface arrives next month and Man of Tomorrow is next summer, but that's it.

Beyond Creature Commando Season 2, no TV shows have been confirmed.

Gunn has previously described Wonder Woman as a priority, but said, I wouldn't call that fast track.

Nothing's going to be shot unless we're as sure as we can that the script is good.
