Create & Cultivate

Her and her team kill it.

She was at, uh, Create & Cultivate, which is one of the largest festivals when you talk about, like, people in business and women in business, and she was talking about the power of intention behind anything that you do.

Let's take a listen.

We need to push for education because, my goodness, we in a literacy crisis.

connect them with people who can move their career forward.

That is like a personal success metric that I look at, but I know that's possible because the first Create Cultivate I went to, I want to say it was 2021 or 2022 in New York.

I saw Jacqueline Johnson, who is the founder of that She was just showing up.

I watched the production team walking around her.

And yeah, and ended up connecting with Jacqueline, who is the founder of Create and Cultivate, Jacqueline Johnson.

And- Just one thing led to the other [laughs] and we had the opportunity to acquire Create & Cultivate.

There's, like, w- way more there that I wanna get into.

First, from kind of a tactical standpoint, you said something that really stuck out to me about applying what you learned.

Within four months, she, Jaclyn found out that private equity was looking to potentially sell the business.

And I remember flying back from the Blueprint Mastermind, our first cohort in person in Napa, and s- getting a text message, like voice note from her being like, "I have a crazy idea.

I was in this board meeting." And so Jaclyn had stepped away from Create & Cultivate, but sh- because she was still on the board, her own, like, a little bit of equity, she was on these calls.

And she was like, "I think I would wanna buy it back, but I'd only do it if you buy it with me, and we can be equal partners.
