Crater Lake

And tonight we're exploring unexplained Oregon.

Now reports take us from residential neighborhoods and country roads to isolated mountain stops and forests of Crater Lake.

We'll hear descriptions of a deer with human upper body, an enormous wolf-like creature, a winged being that climbed onto a moving car, and tall figures that appeared to hunt in a group.

Then the accounts become stranger still, armed humanoids crossing rooftops, a disturbing encounter with a figure in a black suit.

The account does not establish a cause or who, if anyone, entered the house.

Our final report takes the uncertainty a step further.

It comes through a person recounting a neighbor's experience while working at Crater Lake National Park in the late 1980s.

The worker returned one evening for a forgotten bag.

In one of those caves, he made the first of several discoveries of the sagebrush sandals that would make his reputation.

And specifically, that's because they were using it to shoot a transmission out into Crater Lake while also shutting down other transmissions around the area so that they could determine a transmission that was coming out of Crater Lake.

There were even several feet of snow at Crater Lake.
