It's like I know exactly what I'm getting with Jason Statham movies.

And unless they like really lean into the silliness of something like Crank or something like The Beekeeper, then this is just kind of like a generic action movie that is like mildly watchable.

Yeah.

This is, like, if this was on Netflix, I think it would fit perfectly fine.

I have a very narrow scope of movies that I do like, and it's usually, it has to have killing and or kicking.

If nobody's kicking, I just watched Crank 1 and 2 this week,

So the tone is immediately very different from the comic, despite that this movie's written by Joe Casey.

I do think I like this more than Shelter, because Shelter had a lot of weird problems.

And I bring this up just because I just watched the film for the first time.

It kind of reminds me of Crank in that way.

You remember those movies with Jason Statham where he gets injected with the drug and has to keep his adrenaline up? Yeah, you remember those? this kind of has that sort of just insane manic energy to it the the way the violence is handled is so fucking cool and it feels unique each fight there's there's a sequence here where the violence leads to charades and that's all i'll say about like about spoiling it But that sequence is so fucking funny, but it's so it's a great piece of body horror.

And I it's it's so creative.
