Craig Kimberley

Now there's not, people are not happy about this.

South Melbourne president Craig Kimberley, as John told me, gets up on the table and starts yelling at John Hennessy.

What the hell are you doing? Now, this is, at the time, South Melbourne are considering a move to Sydney.

This is almost the final domino to say, well, the league's not going to pay any money to help you upgrade your ground.

This new conglomerate includes Mike Willisey, the media star of the time.

Basil Sellers, who was going to buy them in the first place, Craig Kimberley and a lot of other Sydney business people or South Melbourne linked sort of old South Melbourne fans, business people who put up their own money, not public money or anything like that, put up their own money to save the club with a five-year commitment.

So this was not an entrepreneurial sort of move.

This was... we want our club to survive.
