And Vasco da Gama, of all of the teams that made it through, um, in the two competitions this week, Vasco were the ones who did it easily, um, despite the fact that they weren't at full strength.

Now, Vasco are struggling yet again.

They're in the relegation zone in Brazil yet again, but they've, they've, they've thrown some money.

It was a nil-nil draw in, in Colombia.

And Vasco even, not at full strength because their priority has to be not being relegated, they won two-nil at home.

So Vasco da Gama and Boca Juniors in the semi-fi- one, one of the semifinals of the, um, of the Sudamericana.

When I sent my notes out to you about all our Brazilian players I forgot one who's not in the squad at the moment but he's out on loan in Cuiabano and periodically we get people saying well he's a left wing back or he's a left winger he seems perfect for Glasner I know he's been injured I think he's just come back do you see that potential in him now he seems to be having a successful loan stint away from Forest in Brazil.

I don't know where I'd say his ceiling is I think the loan back to Brazil made sense and he's gone to Vasco who are in a relegation scrap they shouldn't be and he's been inconsistent with minutes due to injuries I still can't place him because he plays as a left back but he performs so much better in the other end of the pitch in the final third when he gets opportunities can be a little bit of a maverick so would you want Cuiabano and Daniel Munoz on either flank obviously Munoz is an incredible player I think it's such a good signing for Forest but Cuiabano I'm not sure where his ceiling is I think he still needs to show a little bit more for years to adapt to the Premier League but I think fans would like him just because he is a little bit chaotic he is forward thinking but we haven't seen as much of what we'd like from him and he's been playing in a team that have been battling relegation so it's a shame it would have been good to see Vasco in the top eight or if he'd gone to a team say like Palmeiras Flamengo Corinthians competing in the top six eight getting regular minutes and then we could get more of a gauge on it but I'm still not sure he is a really exciting player at times but can switch off defensively which is a bit of a red flag when you're looking to play in the Premier League and how quick the pace of that league is.

Yeah interesting maybe an option off the bench or something if he comes back last player who doesn't play Forest but did who I still love Danilo who's been tearing it up for Botafogo I was like convinced he was going to sign for Fuller Man United that's what he's linked with I want him to come back to us but McAtee's done really well to his credit which is brilliant are you shocked that Danilo's still at Botafogo with a lot of problems with them as a club by the sound of it?

Yeah I'm very surprised he refused to play at one point this summer trying to push for a move and then it all went really quiet so I'm not sure exactly what's going on there and I fully expect him to leave Botafogo in January once the Brazilian season has finished where that move will be I think if he wants to stick around and stay within Ancelotti's thoughts I think a move to Europe will have to happen for him once again yeah look everyone's divided on Danilo I think if you were to take the scouting element out of it and think maybe with my heart like he was just a an infectious player on and off the pitch and look he had his moments and that injury I think will always be a what-if moment for him at Nottingham Forest but look credit to him he went back to Brazil played exceptionally well and like yes you could argue that this is one of the worst Brazilian sides in a while but he deserves to be at the World Cup and he still deserves his opportunity there's a lack of creative eight number tens that sort of hybrid role and I think that's where Danilo actually plays his best stuff so look I think a move to Europe will happen whether it's Forest or not I highly doubt it at this point sometimes it's difficult to go back but if we get to see him in Europe again I think that'd be wonderful and it keeps his international chances alive.
