Coventry University

I think there are some good areas where that is happening.

I've been dealing with Coventry University, where there actually is a financial planning course.

I'm actually hoping to go out there and do some coaching there.

Again, luckily, I'm not scalable either, but we're on a podcast here, so maybe other advisors would be excited to do that.

Um, I don't normally complain about that, but it is very warm right now.

And you, uh, you're a graduate of the Coventry University's-

My mom said, "You know, there's a university you can study how to design cars," 'cause I was drawing cars all the time.

And I was like, "Okay, that's what I wanna do.

I'm gonna go to Coventry University." I think I must be the probably the only five year old in the world that said, "I wanna go to Coventry." Um, and so but that's what I did.

Uh, fantastic course, really enjoyed it.

It celebrates the River Sherborne with local art, displays and community activities at the 14th Century Charterhouse.

And so I wanted to create a safe space because I went back to college, did my teacher's training.

did a business course at Coventry University and decided to develop a business startup program.

And I wanted to help as many other women, especially moms who had young children working from home, had expertise, may have left the corporate world and wanted to start a business and didn't want to go back into the rat race.

And that was what inspired me to do so.

Vic Tandy, a researcher at Coventry University, published a paper describing how he and colleagues experienced intense unease, peripheral vision disturbances, and dread in their lab, which turned out to be caused by a standing wave at 18.98 hertz from a new extractor fan.

This sounds like a fun one that we could duplicate.

I thank God for, for the people that he has placed around me.

You know, one of the biggest, I think one of the biggest things that I'm so grateful to God about, especially when it comes to the kind of school I went to, being at Coventry University, is the quality of people that I met as a result of going to that school.

They understand how the trajectory of my life, this path that I'm on in life at the moment, is I believe I mean we don't know God is sovereign and God can reroute and reroute our lives like God may have brought me here even if I didn't go to that school but me looking back I can just see like it's only God's hand right I've met amazing people and I've met a lot so long and short right it's been crazy It's been difficult at times, but God has been consistent.

Then the next lecture we had then was on incretin therapy in women on HRT or as they're kinda commonly known, the GLP-1, the weight loss injections.

And we had a professor of endocrinology from Coventry University talking all about it and the impact for using these medications in women on HRT.

And I think one of the interesting things for many people to realize is that although you may start your weight loss injections with your GP or with a weight loss clinic, it can impact on the absorption of medications including your HRT.

So really importantly, if you are started on a weight loss injection, to mention it to your menopause doctor or your GP in case it affects absorbency.
