Covenant

Well, today I'm excited for you to hear a conversation that I had with Joshua Leventhal as he returns to the podcast to walk track by track through Tapestry Volume 1, his ambitious concept record tracing scripture from Genesis to the wilderness.

Josh and I dig into the theology, the craft, and the stories behind songs like Blessed, Cursed, Vagabond, Covenant, and Tribes, exploring how melody, key changes, and lyric choices carry the weight of the biblical narrative.

This episode's going to be somewhat unique.

If you haven't listened to Joshua's new album, Tepeseri Volume 1, I'd encourage you to do that either at the conclusion of this episode or even stop this episode now, go listen to it, and then come back.

Me too, honestly, as I wrote it.

Absolutely.

Yeah, so take us into Covenant.

Yeah.
