Coven

Like when we talk about religious belief, I think the closest, um, Example to that is being part of a coven because you're committed to each other and the community that you are part of.

You're building that.

Covens aren't massive.

Traditionally, I think they're limited to 13.

Ours is 11.

There's so many.

There are.

I know there's Twilight Covening, which happens in, I think, September.

Except no Instagram.

Okay, now because of the Coven thing, I'm not as witchy as you're making me out to be in like my public world.

But funny you say this about primary sources.

I was reading a book about the Mexican Revolution.

It's less rewarded, right? And it's, yeah, I think for all of Mark's delusion and for all of his sort of exploitation of his family and friends and for all of his...

yeah sort of self delusion he's actually like not a bad filmmaker and I'd actually quite like to see Coven not Coven but Coven it looks good I mean like it's fairly artfully shot like again I kind of like when I was watching this I was thinking if Mark had been born somewhere else or had been a bit more connected or a little bit less prone to drink he could have become like Charles Pinion who did Twisted Issues right there's the same kind of DIY scrappiness to them

Yeah, and like talent.

Yeah,

I love that name.

Yes.

And Sam kind of indicated this earlier, but he's making a short film that he started six years earlier that he calls Coven and everyone around him pronounces Coven.

But then there's one like very kind of like gay Orson Welles style actor who apparently lives in the middle of nowhere for some reason, who's like, it's Coven.

Now, it kind of part of it.

So that's what's going on there.

I wanted to talk a little bit about Practical Magic today.

I didn't get to be on Movie Coven.

That wasn't my bag.

Uh, I hate that he left the last season of N- Nip/Tuck just to like do Glee stuff, but I get it.

Massive hit.

But Nip/Tuck and then American Horror Story, which I remember highly e- enjoying.

Now there's tons of horror TV shows, right? But, um, that show, if people aren't around for it, it did have tons of prestige at the time.

And the way we got so many different type of horror shows or mystery shows, I think that was a-- you have Twin Peaks and you have X-Files, but I think in the current generation, American Horror Story really revitalized that idea and that market.

And then after that, you know, I think there's some good to great seasons there.

There-- season one's still my favorite.
