Courtney Storer

The series The Bear returned for its fifth and final season at the end of June.

If you're a viewer whose mouth has watered at one of Marcus's pastries or found your stomach growling while watching Sydney prepare a French omelet, you have culinary producer Courtney Storer to thank.

Storer, who is also a co-executive producer, is a chef from Chicago, whose background includes experiences at acclaimed restaurants in Paris and Los Angeles.

She also happens to be the sister of showrunner Christopher Storer.

Mm-hmm.

Um, I have a team, especially for season three, four, and five, where there were other chefs helping me out and training the cast and participating in this way where it felt very collaborative, but I definitely felt like I came into my own and really began to trust my instincts and my intuition.

Because Courtney's... brother is the one who writes the show but she's a private chef in california and then maddie has restaurants in toronto uh and then you know he's kind of a household name for chefs and they they created that like that that you wanted the stress you wanted to show how it was very um try to be as realistic as possible people who've worked in a restaurant can just Yep.
