Courchevel

Before I'd done seasons, I was working in PR and marketing, and I was like, "I'll come back and find myself a, a proper job." Anyway, I thought it would be a good in to get me back in and applied for the job at the Ski Club.

Very randomly, my boss at the time actually came out to Courchevel to interview me because she had contacts at, uh, Mark Warner and, and got herself a, a great deal.

And, um, yeah, it just, everything slotted into place.

And came back to the UK, started working at Ski Club, and still at that time, my expectation is this is a short term and then, you know, I'll just do this, get myself back into London life and then, yeah, find myself a proper job.

He just got in it, pissed and went, oh, these are really...

And because it was Courchevel, it's miles up, and he had to get a lift back with the milkman, and he walked back in it.

And I come back, and his dad went, where's my son? And I went, last thing, going downhill.

And at night, it is so cold up in those mountains.

I was telling him about how I felt and he told me, you mustn't worry.

I've given up my job in Courchevel.

I'll move in with you, Lucy and Sam.

And we'll figure this out.

but I'm actually curious you've been to most places if it weren't for having to pose for business because obviously that's part of your brand and profile what would be like the best place to go with your friends in the world that you've been to and be like okay I want to repeat that and I don't need to pose and I just had a blast

They're all prized in their own way because they are very specific styles of cheese and very specific breeds of herds, but the Beaufort Chalet d'Alpage is from the Maurienne mountain area, which is very small.

If you go skiing, it's Courchevel and Meribel and places like that.

And in the summer, it's called transhumance.

The herds travel from the valleys up to the higher pastures, the alpine pastures, which are wild.

Yeah.

Yeah.... seventh week was when we were going to Courchevel.

Yeah, that was when I was going to Dubai.

We were like the exact same time.

Same thing, and so I saw that video I think it was like five weeks, and I was like, "Oh my God," like, "What's about to happen?" Like, am I just gonna hate my trip to Courchevel?

Yeah.

And I was so excited for that trip 'cause we go like every year.
