Courage International

Right.

And the Newman Society sought guidance from a Courage International priest who stated these events cause scandal and contradict the foundational mission.

And look, our point here isn't to take a side or debate the underlying social issues.

Exactly.

Headline, pro James Martin parish attacks ministry helping people with inclinations you and I cannot understand live chastely.

In other words, a James Martin-friendly parish is attacking and just trying to destroy Courage International.

Courage is an organization that takes and works with people who have that inclination most of us will never understand and helps them to live as the church tells all of us to live.

They help them to carry their cross, to live with those inclinations, and to live as Catholics.

And so they use every mechanism possible to do it.

One Ca- a Catholic parish that supports all things James Martin is decrying the Diocese of Syracuse, that's up in New York, introduction of a ministry that helps people with that inclination to live chastely.

The diocese confirmed to Central Current that it is establishing a chapter of Courage International, a Catholic apostolate that helps men and women with that inclination to live a chaste life as required by Catholic teaching and to live a robustly Catholic life.

Daniel Cummings, chancellor and communications director for the diocese, said the ministry is being reestablished after a previous Courage chapter had fallen dormant at least ten years ago at the request of local Catholics seeking help as they struggle with this stuff.

And no matter how I tried, I could not resist those lustful temptations that had so much power over me.

And one day while listening to EWTN, I heard this priest who was the founder of an apostolate called Courage International.

Courage International.

And his name was Father Paul Harvey.

And I heard him say something, and he said, We have to fight against our same-sex attraction.
