Fresh from their 15th Golden Guitar Award win at the Golden Guitars in January, the Wolf Brothers are back with new music from their forthcoming eighth studio album.

This follows their aria number one album, Australian Made, that garnered them five Golden Guitar wins, chart-topping hits and a national tour that continues to roll around the country.

Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley have 20 Golden Guitar Awards between them, amongst other accolades, two previous albums together, and two children, and a very successful enterprise called Hang At The Wang, and a few TV shows to boot.

They not only found time to write and record their new album, Souls on Show, they made sure it was great, and they're here to talk about it.

Hello, Adam, and hello, Brooke.

Andrew Swift has released four albums which were all number one on the ARIA Charts.

He's won three Golden Guitars and toured the land several times, probably lost count.

He's now released Brick by Brick, the first single from his next album.

It's a change in direction, and a really great one, and I have questions.

Mm-hmm.

Uh, so it was sort of trying to balance everything and I knew that it would have its, its time.

[inhales] 'Cause I imagine it's a consideration for an artist particularly, you know, you have four albums already out as I said, number one chart positions, you have Golden Guitars.

For lack of a better term, there's a brand there, I guess there's a sonic brand that your fans know.

Sandy, to a great credit, is a passionate supporter of community radio and her fellow artists, and she readily champions the contributions that followers, presenters and radio volunteers afford her, valuing them as the engines of independent music.

She continues to hone her songwriting craft, including co-writing with 10-times Golden Guitar Award winner Lynn Botel at her SHE songwriting retreats and through meetings with other writers.

Now, I've spoken on the phone with Sandy a couple of times before.

And I'm genuinely delighted to once again have this amazing songstress standing by on the phone waiting to have a chat with me.
