Counterterrorism

Across six operational deployments, Roger has held senior command roles in Iraq, Afghanistan and East Timor.

Following his retirement, he was appointed as the Australian Ambassador for Counterterrorism from 2021 to 2023.

In this role, he helped to support a global effort to counter violent extremism around the world.

Besides his extensive military experience, he also holds a bunch of academic degrees, including first class honors degree in history, a master's of business administration.

Now, even the mainstream media has had trouble keeping the official version of events afloat.

And This is how Assistant Commissioner Lawrence Taylor of Counterterrorism Police explained the very many inconsistencies.

Now for the public, this incident was defined by images of three vans being stopped and searched by armed police officers and the arrest of five men at the scene.

The subsequent release of those five men on police bail sparked significant questions and speculation about the investigation and why that was the case.

Of course, that's not actually specified in the charge.

So one does have to be very careful, clearly, with what is or is not the case when put out there.

Now, Counterterrorism police have made continued references to Iran, as of course have many other commentators, and this appears to be for a very particular reason.

We'll now listen to what Lawrence Taylor encourages the public to do based on this investigation.

This is ABC NewsDaily.

Police have named 43-year-old Tarringi man Brendan Nugent as the driver arrested of the alleged car attack on Indi MP Helen Haines.

It's clear that there was a, a deliberate act here.

He flew to Manchester and picked up two guns in woodland in Huddersfield to carry out the hit.

Counterterrorism police who arrested him on the eve of the murder have not been able to establish who his intended victim was or who had paid the Foxtrot Network for the proposed killing.

The head of Tesla, Elon Musk, says he's developed a flying car.

During a live-streamed event, a Roadster sports car can be seen driving up a vertical ramp before flipping upside down and righting itself mid-air, landing on its wheels.

So, um, I ended up transferring down to SOCOM.

I worked in the Special Operations Command and Anti-Terrorism, and I got out in '09 and became a nurse after that, so yeah.

So Doctor...

Oh, where'd I go? There I go.
