Um, um, he has written for, you know, the normal leftist and progressive fare, but I'll, I'll throw them out just in case you wanna look him up.

CounterPunch, Jacobin, New York Journal of Books, but he's also written for such publications as the Alabama Poli- Political Reporter and the Battle Bro Reformer, which means I take them a little bit seriously, as he actually does local journalism.

And I first became aware of him through our mutual friend, Ben Burgess.

Ben and I disagree on many, many, many, many, many things, but, uh, we both care about prison reform.

[laughs] And I have a Substack called The Hard Times Reviewer, which primarily focuses on prison issues.

And a lot of my articles are republished in CounterPunch magazine.

So I wrote a two and a half page essay.

I submitted it blind to Counterpunch, got published.

They got a huge response.

They said, if you have anything else, let me know.

And while she was there, one of her classmates was the daughter of Richard Nixon.

Oh, really? Now, in 2009, Grace Slick sat for an interview with Phyllis Pollack from CounterPunch.

Uh-huh.

And in that article with the m- memorable title, "If I Wasn't Grace Slick, I'd Be Dead"- [laughs] ... she shared the story of her attempt to dose the president with acid.

So this formal tea is set to go down on April 24th, 1970.

But before they arrive at the White House, Grace Slick and Abbie Hoffman realize they're gonna need to do some work to disguise Abbie Hoffman so that he can slip past the Secret Service- Sure, yeah ... and presumably the FBI agents to get inside the White House.

And as Grace Slick told CounterPunch, Abbie Hoffman had, quote, "Curly hair, so we had to try to slick it back." [laughs] So that didn't exactly work, 'cause as Grace Slick tells it, "He looked like a mafia hit man." [laughs] And not only that, also as Grace Slick said, "He had a Jew fro, and we tried to flatten that out.

That didn't work." They should've just given him a buzz cut.

The five men arrested for filming and celebrating the attack were held for 71 days and then released back to Israel on the say-so of Assistant Attorney General slash Israeli dual national Michael Chertoff.

A report in Haaretz stated there was heavy lobbying on their behalf by two prominent New York congressmen, while journalist Christopher Ketchum of Counterpunch reported that none other than Jeffrey Epstein's disgraced lawyer Alan Dershowitz personally intervened to smooth things over with the U.S. government.

Once back in Israel, three of the five men appeared on Yair Lapid's TV show and spoke about their time in America.

When asked what they were doing to such close proximity to the scene of the crime, they replied, our purpose was to document the event.

He doesn't, I don't think he looks into 9/11 every day, but he definitely looks at all the, the current breaking stories like this guy, uh, Garcia, who wrote this thing for, uh, what is it? CounterPunch, I think.

You know, he was all over that story.

And then for Free Speech, I've worked on things with, um, they have a s- a program called Source Code.

So these imports and these export figures that go, you know, pharmaceuticals or tech.

I think this first came to many of our attention when, remember when you wrote that article for Counterpunch and it revealed the sheer amount of Israeli imports and how it had skyrocketed and it was in the billions.

And this was for tech services.

Those are US imports, really, aren't they? Via Ireland.

The program will discuss the topic, the war on drugs, who is winning and who is losing.

The program will feature the syndicated columnist, Alexander Coburn, who also edits the magazine Counterpunch.

He's also a columnist for The Nation.

We'll be joined by Jeffrey St. Clair, Alex's co-editor at Counterpunch.

And that, of course, is what happened.

So we have this situation now, breaking the codes in November 1941.

And on November 15, 1941, as the Amoyama Motors forces moved to the attacking points, both for the Philippines and Pearl Harbor, and Wake and Guam, which were also taken, General George Marshall, who was the Army's chief of staff, called in the Washington bureau chiefs of the major news papers of this country and the magazines.

This included the New York Times, the New York Herald Tribune, Newsweek, and Time magazine, pledged these bureau chiefs to secrecy and told them that we had broken the Japanese codes and that he expected war to start in the first week of December 1941.

Who's she married to? Anyway, she's married to a former CIA operative.
