Cottagecore

And what else am I going to say about that one? I really don't know.

Cottagecore.

It's just, I guess, about living off in a remote area, just by yourself in a cottage in the middle of the forest.

It's the fall.

I could see her being like, yes, you will wear this costume.

Cottagecore Barbie dress.

Cottagecore Barbie dress.

The word that kept coming up when I was like trying to figure out exactly what style dress this is, is a Regency style.

Yeah.

There is something to sort of...

We were...

I tried to sort of put a pin, not anything specific, but when we were just throwing out a lot of like Montcloth, Cottagecore, Tradwife stuff, maybe that helps with our SEO too.

A specific visual style.

Right? A subculture or vibe, aesthetic Cottagecore, a rustic, pastoral style inspired by a romanticized rural life, featuring farm animals, baking, and floral prints.

[laughs] Barbiecore, a bright pink, glamorous fashion style inspired by Barbie.

So your core is your style.

Ooh.

Uh, Cottage Core games, but we're gonna talk about-

VR

...

[laughs]

We're gonna talk about that both on its own, because it's just an interesting conversation, and we both wanna talk about our nice fancy toys that we just bought.

Um, but also I think we should talk about Cottage Core games, farming, et cetera, because I just played a new, uh, VR farming game.

Um, and spoiler alert, I felt sick playing it.

That's perfect for fall.

Cottagecore fantasy.

I love that.

That's actually a really cute description.

Yeah, right?

Cottagecore fantasy.

[laughs]

Um, but basically she opens, like, her secret little shop, um, this cute little librarian, and it's her book of spells and things like that.

so yeah.

Um, we're gonna talk about Neopets because we like Neopets I guess, and there's Cottage Core in there somewhere.

It's, it's, it's the early days of Cottage Core one could argue.

Um-

Yeah

... [laughs] but, uh, but before that, we as usual, we have lots of our usual Cottage Core game news.

Um, so we'll cover some updates and stuff like that.

Um, but before that, Chelsea, what's been going on?

But for those who don't, how do we define that?

Cottagecore is an internet aesthetic that heavily romanticizes rural agricultural life.

Like perfectly curated Instagram feeds.

Think of someone wearing a linen apron baking sourdough bread from scratch, arranging freshly picked wildflowers in a rustic stone cottage while a gentle mist rolls over the hills outside.
