Cost-of-living crisis

The other side of that is that obviously there are certain challenges that don't go away and sometimes the challenges become worse.

So if we take, for example, the cost of living crisis, which I think is at the moment we consider cost of living to be going in the wrong, continuing to go in the wrong direction.

So that means the challenge and the need is always growing.

So how as an organisation do you find a way to adapt to that growing need? And is there...

And it's interesting that we still talk about cost of living crisis.

Yeah, I think it's appalling.

It's appalling putting up those numbers knowing that there's a cost of living crisis.

And you see it, man.

Like, you know, when I went to buy in some cans of tuna, Man, $4, $5, you know, not even on specials.

Yo, so my article was basically Mike Hosking.

Basically what he said was the cost of living crisis is over.

And I just took down some of the points he was saying.

So in his view, he said the cost of living crisis no longer exists.

He said it began during COVID and finished when inflation was returned to an orderly level.

So that was 2022, 2023 to 2024.

He argued that mortgage interest rates costs have fallen substantially.

He acknowledged that things aren't perfect, but he said it's not as bad as it was, nor indeed anywhere close.
