In the last couple of episodes, Shannon comes back, she implodes Elle's world in the cruelest, stupidest kind of way.

Elle really wanted to get back to LA in the early episodes, so she writes into this Cosmo Girl contest where it's like, tell us about how you've overcome adversity and we'll make you an intern.

So she starts to write this and then realizes, oh, Seattle's kind of working for me.

So her mother finishes it off, sends it in.

We've recognized the bullshit we've been fed for years.

We're looking back on like Just 17 and Cosmo Girl and all that small crap.

And we're like, oh, that was really toxic.

The whole, the 90s, the noughties was really, really toxic.

It's lighting.

And it reminds me of the stuff that used to come in like Cosmo Girl magazines and be like, have you tried putting honey on your face? You know, just all those weird things.

Like beauty tips and stuff.
