AustinHOST
And Sanderson, he is buying Evermore Park.
AustinHOST
Is he building a theme park? Is he going to have a Cosmere world? We'll talk about that.
AustinHOST
We also YouTube
RichardHOST
premium seems to be potentially adding audio books into the mix, maybe free of charge for existing members, but maybe not.
20 MINS LATER
RichardHOST
That seems to be the direction.
RichardHOST
He at least says he wants the theme park finished by the upcoming Olympics.
AustinHOST
And caveat on that, it's not really going to be a theme park, and he doesn't want to make Dragonsteel Land or Cosmere Land, which I think is inevitable.
AustinHOST
I think maybe 100 years from now, there's going to be a Disney version of Cosmere.
TonyHOST
If you're listening to us on a podcast platform, consider leaving a comment or review.
TonyHOST
These interactions help other world hoppers find our show and hopefully spread laughter to the Cosmere.
MikeHOST
We are
TonyHOST
going to pick up at chapter 45.
13 MINS LATER
TonyHOST
We don't know.
TonyHOST
That's the thing.
TonyHOST
Hoyt is the greatest character in the Cosmere.
MikeHOST
Because he helps, but he's only helping to further his own
DomHOST
Have you guys seen Brandon Sanderson's contract? No.
DomHOST
So Apple TV signed with Brandon Sanderson for the whole Cosmere.
DomHOST
They gave him, I think, SJM's dream, which is he has 100% control over everything.
DomHOST
He gets final word on everything, which is like unprecedented control.
JustinHOST
Chris, on the other hand, is much more keeping calm in the situation.
JustinHOST
She is confused, but that takes the form of thinking through the consequences of what's happening here and what that means for Skadriel and the Cosmere and all that.
JustinHOST
And also knows exactly who he is, which he says is, you know, just one of the downsides of being famous.
JustinHOST
Mm-hmm.
28 MINS LATER
JustinHOST
I'm going to kill them all.
JustinHOST
Think about that.
JustinHOST
and Kelsey are thinking that yes they are lies meant to distract him but that doesn't mean they don't hurt and that closes our second of three parts for this episode our final part of today's section part five Irie with a very different looking symbol here as we're going to be diverting for some weird Cosmere shit We begin with Kelsior heading out into the ocean of Skadriel, which here is a weird, dense jungle.
JustinHOST
So that's a new experience for him.
Tyler HollandHOST
And then after this, I will, cause it'll be a long time before the next one's out.
Tyler HollandHOST
So I've already, Brandon Sanderson released the last of his secret projects from what? Kickstarter fires of December, which is the last of his, Sort of there's in all of the Cosmere, which is Brandon Sanderson's, you know, that's his big magnum opus, all these interconnected books.
Tyler HollandHOST
And there's one character who is in all of them.
Tyler HollandHOST
He is a world hopper.
DanGUEST
Fires? No.
JT RussellHOST
There's a Cosmere one from Sanderson.
JT RussellHOST
Oh,
DanGUEST
yeah.
DanGUEST
I am undecided on how I'm going to reattack the Cosmere when it becomes time because there's so much.
DanGUEST
The frustrating part I'm finding with some of this stuff that's out there now is how many little mini novellas there are.
DanGUEST
And the cost to acquire them is frustrating.
OwenHOST
It is wonderful to see your gorgeous faces.
OwenHOST
We are here, we are back, we are playing the premiere Cosmere RPG campaign set in Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive, Echoes of Honor.
OwenHOST
We are very excited to be diving back in tonight.
OwenHOST
We have a super fun episode ready to rock and roll.
1 HR 54 MINS LATER
OwenHOST
I know you're talking about Harrison, why are you looking at the phone? So narratively, you would be losing Stormlight every time you do these illusions.
OwenHOST
Not much because you can reclaim it, but still enough because you've got to hold on to it.
OwenHOST
But mechanically, that's not accounted for in the Cosmere RPG.
OwenHOST
We're going to go with the mechanics, but explain it narratively.
JessHOST
That's the next wall
SierraGUEST
that I want to make, is the Cosmere wall, because I'm halfway through.
SierraGUEST
Oh, wait, talk to me about this.
SierraGUEST
Oh, my God.
JessHOST
And I went, like, I have a digital notebook when I am in this mode.
JessHOST
And I went off the rails.
JessHOST
Have you interacted with the Cosmere people? Because they are, oh, you need to get on the Cosmere side of Bookstagram.
JessHOST
There are people already, they are in it deep with you, sister.
ChrisHOST
Nice.
ChrisHOST
I powered through re-listening to the Cosmere.
AlanHOST
Okay.
AlanHOST
Fun times.
KyleHOST
Welcome to Complicated Opportunities, a Cosmere RPG podcast with a couple of GMs.
KyleHOST

JoshGUEST
Thanks for bringing me on Kyle and Irving.
JoshGUEST
I've, I've been a fan of yours since you started your podcast because I was a new GM with the Cosmere RPG and I saw your podcast start and I was like, I got to figure this crap out if I'm going to lead this thing with my friends.
