Cory Finley

Yeah

... uh, Ariel Marx's score, the beautiful direction, Cory Finley, in this episode, many others throughout the season, and just the humor and the heart and the life, so that when she walks into the bullpen at the end and Choi's there, I'm like, "Wow, this is a TV show."

That's what I mean, yeah.

You have that, and yet it never, it, it never lost sight of what the message and what the thematic weight of what the show wants to communicate was.

... and it's raining out.

You need an umbrella.

And I told Cory Finley, who directed the finale and did such an incredible job.

But I was like-

There are moments when the score seems to settle into something more appropriate to, like, a tense moment or a family moment, and then it kinda mutates in a jazzy or surprising way and, and, and twists itself.

Um, this episode and I believe next week's finale are directed by Cory Finley, who directed a movie called Thoroughbreds.

And as far as I can tell, d- like, I don't know if this is someone that Liz knows or has worked with before, but to step in to the penultimate episode-

I think if, if I remember correctly, Thoroughbreds has a very Liz Meriwether sensibility when it comes to, like, mixing-
