I r- just remember watching the news, like, maybe half asleep and hearing that.

And I didn't realize Union would play Cortland.

Currently in New York, motorists are required to use due care when passing non-motorists.

In New York, versions of this three feet local law are in effect in Monroe, Suffolk, and Cortland counties.

Before the vote, Sheriff Jim Quattrone said he does have some concerns regarding the enforceability of the law.

It's difficult to measure that three feet, and I want to make sure we're going to be able to enforce it.

So after she finished school, she did work on, I think it was her family's farm, but it might have been a neighboring farm as well.

And then in 1904, when she was 18 years old, she moved to Cortland, New York, which compared to the rural area where Grace grew up, was Very much the big city, and it is, like, I think roughly 35, 40 miles away from where she grew up in Oselick, so... or South Oselick.

So I think that would have taken quite a bit because the primary modes of transportation at the time were renting a stagecoach or trains.

Wow, okay.

So crazy to, like, put things into perspective with that.

It's kinda crazy too because, and I'm gonna talk about this several times throughout the episode, that there's so much that's very modern about this case, and then it takes you back when they have to, like, catch a stagecoach to go somewhere.

So her older sister, Ada, was married and had just had a baby, so she went to Cortland to live with her older married sister, who would therefore be her chaperone.

And she could help with the baby, but she also needed to get a job, so she got a job at the Gillette Skirt Factory.

And then we the parade was Saturday, actually, at Cortland.

I raced back up and joined them for their little parade.

A native of Wales, New York, the former Kelly Johnson was a five-year varsity field hockey player at Iroquois High School, earning all Western New York and all New York State honors along the way before graduating in 2003.

She went on to play for nationally ranked teams at SUNY Cortland, where she moved from forward to midfield, the position she still plays to this day.

After graduating from Cortland in 2007, she started coaching at West Seneca West until 2019, when East and West were combined into one district team, which she has coached ever since.

She also started her own club team called the Buffalo Hurricanes.

It was largely girls from Alma, But Ruchalski said she took girls from all over the area because there just weren't that many options to play.

Phelps Almanac There is an eccentric Mormon at Salt Lake City of the name of W. W. Phelps.

He is from Cortland, State of New York, and has been a saint for a good many years.

It is said he enacts the character of the devil, with a pea-green tail, in the Mormon initiation ceremonies.

He has also published an almanac, in which he blends astronomy with short moral essays and suggestions in regard to the proper management of hens.
