Which is incredibly rare for this universe.

Extremely rare.

Exactly.

So locking the reader entirely into one single character's head for the duration of a massive novel is a radical departure from the established formula.

And Corran Horn is such a specific grounded type of character.

He's not a mystic.

Why can't we do that? Why can't we do Jora Salyth? Why, why not? Why, why can't we do Corran Horn and all of those people, Mara Jade? Why couldn't we just?

Yeah.
