Corporate statism

Um, next we'll talk about the state and, uh, the military.

These are from the vantage point of the power elite, really just tools in the toolkit, the state ultimately, which does have a lot of power, uh, But in our day, really, we live in the corporate state.

The state really can't do anything without kind of the banking power and the Fortune 100, Fortune 500 sort of going along with it.

And because of the centralization of so much wealth and power, in fact, if you remember, go back to what Quigley said, he said that by the turn of the last century, the tiny 0.01% of the oligarchs, the robber barons, they already owned almost half of the wealth in the country.

So you can really just see the state.

And it's funny because, uh, you know, Trump was today talking about somehow he's going to give everyone $5,000 if Republicans win.

I don't know how, I mean, I mean, that's a great example of what I'm talking about, right? That's essentially the corporate state.

It's basically buying your vote.

It's called Cronyism, Rise of the Corporatist State from 1849 to 1929.

And that's really the important, that era, that era, That 70-year era is completely changing how America operates.

Because the American government didn't know how to deal with powerful industrialists.
