Coronet Blue

So similar to The Invaders, going place to place trying to prove things.

Another one is a show we've already done and is amazing, Coronet Blue, about Michael Alden, a man suffering from amnesia who is being pursued by a powerful group of people.

And all he can remember are the words Coronet Blue, one of the best TV shows ever.

Another inspiration for The Invaders was, let's just call it the alien doppelganger films, which had actually occurred about 10 years before, but they were very, very popular.

And these are films where aliens come and they inhabit or appear to be humans.

I mean, it was like, there was hundreds of episode, right? They were just battling them out.

And then after that he got Coronet Blue, and this is kinda when Larry starts to show how obstreperous he could be, kind of, to work with at times.

So Coronet Blue was a show that he was kinda ousted from because he wanted more control in it, the studio was fighting with him at the time.

So it was kinda like The Bourne Identity kinda thing, a guy who had his, uh, memory flashed.

He was, uh, being hunted by an international cabal of some sorts, and, um, Larry being Larry [laughs] just never gave them the ending, so they couldn't finish or conclude the show without him, so it just died to death.
