I completely agree with you that showing Corneria as a worn-torn city slash landscape is much more effective visually in this remake, but I feel like some of the voice acting choices that they made, even just in Corneria, especially Falco, were different.

I remember very distinctly Falco in the 64 version saying, this is horrible, and showing a more human side of him than they they did in this updated version and this one he he doesn't say that line he says something a little more flippant and like i think that the main like dividing line that this verse the remake has is like the remit the original lines were way more like campy and bombastic and this one's they recreate that they try to recreate that as well as they can some of them hit some of them don't but they also first boss

And then there's a couple of missions where you're in a tank and then one where you're in a sub.

And this game has, I think, 16 different missions you can have on it.

It always starts in Corneria.

It always ends at Venom.

Just because I don't know if you've tried some of those challenges, but there's certain challenges where like, there's one where it's like, you have to beat the Galagus boss, which is like the first boss.

If you do the normal route in Corneria, you have 10 seconds from the start of the fight to beat it.

And the only way to do it, the only way to do it is you have to immediately shoot his leg off so that he falls to the ground, go off to the right, do a tight turn to the left, and mash that goddamn button.

And you will maybe do it with one second remaining on the clock.

On the first boss of Corneria, it used to be like, the boss would be like, who are you guys? And then Fox would be like, we're Star Fox.

But now it's, we're Star Fox.

Was there any because this is something I think we definitely wouldn't pick up on unless it was really noticeable, but changes in like the the levels, was there anything in like level differences that stood out to you, either positive or negative?

No, all the levels are basically one-to-one, including they're one-to-one with the 3DS version, which had very subtle changes.

And when I say that, I mean like in Corneria when you go behind a waterfall.

On N64, there's a bunch of rocks behind that waterfall, so you can hit them, and it damages you and it sucks.

But yeah, it is a great looking game, even now.

Retro Salvage Games says the N64 game is superior in gameplay, of course, but my goodness, we cannot deny the pop you get when the SNES Corneria music hits on that first level.

Both are insanely fun times.

The series as a whole is a blast, and I'm so happy Nintendo gave my boy Fox a spotlight in the Galaxy movie.
