But, yeah, I mean, he's been phenomenal.

So he's got all the tools to be as good as there is.

Corliss Waitman, the 49ers punter, is the special teams player of the week for the NFC.

Second time that he's won conference player of the week honors.

The first time, probably a memory that not many of you want to hear, but 2022, he was punting for Denver.

Remember the super ugly game at Mile High Stadium? Probably with 20 punts between the two teams.

Corliss Waitman was the AFC special teams player of the week.

So he's been punting at a high level for quite some time.

Broncos won that game with Russell Wilson.

Yeah, I don't know if there's any sort of injury there or whatever.

How about our boy Corliss Waitman, by the way? What a dominant punting performance last week.

NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Five punts, all inside the 20, three inside the 10, zero return yardage for Seattle.

He, I mean, Grayson Holton can't make that play if Corliss Waitman doesn't pin them deep on the goal line.

I like even watching the punts, Michelle.

Listen, he is a good punter, and the Steelers were like, "We don't want you."

Five, drafted Romello Height and Kalon Black, both in the third round.

Six, signed Corliss Waitman, who unfortunately is dealing with the flu.

Seven, signed Debo early in camp.

And eight, continued to believe in the non-premium round draft fees from previous years who are producing... at high level this offseason.

And even, you know, their biggest mistake was opening the door for Seattle early on special teams with that muffed punt.

But then also, the 49ers had the NFL special teams player of the week in Corliss Waitman, who had an outstanding day as the punter, and it was his punt to the four-yard line late in the first half when everybody was, was getting ready to, you know, go get a beer or, uh, you know, a hot dog or whatever.

That enabled Grayson Holden to make that play and extend the 49ers lead at halftime.

So all areas of the team really showed up and had their thumbprints on that victory in Seattle.

Corliss Waitman has been awesome.

He, like, punter of the year type stuff.

I think he's the best punter the 49ers have had since Andy Lee.

He is unbelievable.
