I just don't know that that's the case with this, with this collective group right now, and I, I think that's, there's, that's multifactorial why that's happening, but it, it's, it's becoming an obvious problem.

It's been a long time since Green Bay hasn't had some real legitimate veteran presence in that room, whether it be Corey Linsley, David Bakhtiari, Brian Bulaga, Elton Jenkins, um, you know, the, the, these past few years.

You know, going back further, you know, Chad Clifton, you know, Mark Tars- Tauscher, yourself, uh, Marco Rivera.

You know, we can go on, and Mike Flanagan.

How good are we from him all the way down the coaching staff at teaching the details of your, of the positional requirements of the sport for you to be successful so collectively we can be successful? And whether it's the wide receiver blocking, whether it's the offensive line, whether it's the footwork of the quarterback, whether it's the placement of the running back in the hole or on a screen, it just, it rarely looks like we are the superior team from that standpoint.

I, I think it's, I think it's time to sort of render a verdict when, a- and credit to you, you know, even when this team was doing some pretty good stuff going back to '23, even I th- it's probably been longer than that now, w- winning some football games, um, you were on this of attention to detail and, and lacking the, the consistency with it that, you know, championship teams often display.

And I think now it's been this slow degradation where, and maybe it hasn't even been that slow, but just like every year it just feels to get a little bit worse and just a little bit further away, and I don't know if that's like the further away you get from Rodgers and Bakhtiari and Linsley and Adams and Jones and like every little step of the way you're kind of losing some of that DNA that, and it's, it's just not carrying over.

The new guys that you bring in are not, you know, learning this stuff from maybe some of those other veterans that were on the team prior, and the coaching staff's not implementing it.

We didn't win a Super Bowl with Corey Linsley, but boy, oh boy, were those offenses potent, right? What happened? You shipped Corey Linsley's ass out of town, right? Yeah.

And from that day forward, we have been struggling to replace a good center.

The center position has never rebounded since we basically said, all right, we're ready to move on from Corey Lindsley.

Knowing that it was an offensive line that was gonna do whatever it took to protect their quarterback behind them.

I just miss having that guy.

I think it's, you see it a lot around the rest of the league.

And I, I think that the, the biggest compliment, and Brian, you're in this group too, but when I played, you know, when, when Brian and I and, and Josh Sitton and Dave Bakhtiari and Corey Linsley, and even going back with, you know, Chad Clifton, Mark Tauscher, all those guys, like the biggest compliment I think you can get, you know, as an offensive lineman was when coaches used to say, "Hey, these are old school guys.

They don't put up with that stuff," right? Like they know, the other team knows they can't do that, because if they do, they're gonna have, they're gonna have hell to pay.

And it's not just a Green Bay problem, but man, it's so frustrating.

But now you have the center that you had at the end of last year, who you gave a contract to, who was a top 100 pick, who's an athletic guy, a strong, physical, like, powerful player.

I think Sean Ryan is going to be the best center the Packers have had since Corey Linsley.

I think he will be better than Josh Myers at any point in his NFL career, at least in Green Bay, and he will be better than Elton Jenkins was to start the season last year, which is to say, like, fine.

He doesn't even have to be that good.
