Um, let's move on to the, uh, Riley Auto Parts race where, like, just as we saw with Chase Briscoe win twice, uh, we saw Cor- Corey LaJoie win again-

He, he had another penalty too.

It was kinda like the kinda day where really strong cars got penalized, and they had to fight their way back, or they got damaged.

But, uh, Corey LaJoie got a penalty after three, one, one of the stages.

And, uh, he just managed to sneak his way through, uh, uh, through up to the field.

[laughs] Well, Christopher Bell, of course, you know, made it known that he lost his power, power steering at Las Vegas.

And so when Kyle Larson was on Corey LaJoie's podcast, Stacking Pennies, after the Las Vegas race, he said there was no way that Christopher Bell could have lost his power steering, uh, entirely and continued in that race.

He said just...

He said it was BS.

And so when we had a Zoom conference with Christopher Bell on Wednesday and he was told what Kyle Larson had said on, uh, Corey LaJoie's podcast, then he said, "Well, I hope he loses his power steering so he can explain it." And, um, this is when Christopher Bell was going into depth onto how he lost it and what it felt like and, and how he got the car to turn and all that.

So he, uh, yeah, Christopher Bell said he hoped Kyle Larson loses his power steering so he can explain it.

God, [laughs] that's the-

I think we maybe still be going to Miami, but otherwise, uh, we're not gonna be at Charlotte this week unfortunately.

I hope, uh, Corey LaJoie has a great kickball tournament.

How would you not run back Corey LaJoie top 10 at plus 750? You go to Kansas, right? And, and we have this bet there at a similar number.

I think it was a little bit higher, but goes out and he runs 10th place.

Boom, you cash it, right? And you look back, and the reason we took him is really despite Dodge's or Ram's speed issues throughout the season, they've been solid, and LaJoie had been solid on the bigger tracks.

Started 10th at Charlotte earlier this year.

Coming off that 10th place run at Kansas last week.

And it's Corey LaJoie.

Talk about it.

And that may have been just a shocking, an announcement, 'cause that came out of the blue and, you know, man, that Corey LaJoie's got some real competition next year.

[laughs] And I, I, uh, talked to a few people about that specifically, and I said it, it, it makes sense to me how it happened.

Mm-hmm.

... that's a possibility that's out there, and it would be fun in that Truck Series to have a Brad and a Corey LaJoie and, and a Casey Kane, and, uh, maybe get back to that feeling when I first became a fan of NASCAR and you had Mike Skinner and Johnny Benson.

A- and that was a really gritty [laughs]-

Um, O'Reilly, there was none, no race, nada, zip.

And in trucks, um, I didn't watch it, but I do know that Caden Honeycutt dominated and won 75 out of the 76 points, and Corey LaJoie had a master class in P10.
