Um, you know, if you look at what Machado and Tatis and a couple of their other key players have been doing, it's a bit more than what the D-backs have been getting out of Corbin Carroll.

And, and, uh, you know, uh, Geraldo Podomo and Quetel Marte.

And even Marte, I mean, he recently had a nine-game hitting streak.

So this is an issue for this team.

And...

I think it's probably worth talking about Corbin Carroll just briefly here, Jack.

This was a big series for him, getting the MRI results.

WRC Plus in the 130s, and a guy that has been injury-free for the most part this season as well.

So even Corbin Carroll has been a little bit below his usual standards.

Cattell Marte has had some drama on and off the field, and he's been a little bit worse than we're accustomed to seeing from him.

So it's been Moreno picking up a lot of the slack.

There's guys that they can bring up from AAA.

surely Corbin Carroll could tell Marte are going to get better against right-handed pitching right but here we are September 14th the season is pretty much on the line and it's an issue that hasn't gotten any better and it's sinking this team right now now I know the last game of the series they really got it going in the later innings but there's been so many losses in the last month where they've lost by one run two run maybe three runs where their offense did nothing in the pitching pretty much did everything and they have the talent they're just not putting it together right now And another takeaway I had is the left-handed pitching is fool's gold.

People got so excited after the first game of the series.

The offense is alive again.

If the non-mix were even league average against right-handed pitching, this offense is completely different.

And the main thing for me is this roster is jam-packed with left-handed platoon bats.

Well, guys like Quetel Marte and Corbin Carroll have also fallen off dramatically against right-handed pitching.

Olson not doing a lot for you in that first base position, and there's a lot of production there that you should be able to grab.

Corbin Carroll, 147, one home run, one stolen base.

Quietly not a strong year for Corbin Carroll.

He had an amazing April and a solid May, and since then has been pretty middling.

This is a kind of a culmination of that.
