I mean, I'm a huge Jimmy Buffett fan.

There have been previous documentaries about him that included his voice that I think are probably a bit more insightful about him.

But this is really a documentary about the band, the Coral Reefers, and how integral they were to his stardom.

because it talks about how he tried to make it in all these different genres and different aspects.

Florida Is is the 13th major label studio album, and it was released in June of 1986 by MCA.

The album was produced by Coral Reefer band member Michael Utley and recorded and mixed by Jay Rifkin.

Rifkin would go on to found the company Media Ventures with famous movie music magician Hans Zimmer.

Their partnership earned them numerous awards and nominations, including Academy Award nominations for the film scores for Driving Miss Daisy, Rain Man, and The Lion King.

This one got 29 plays and was co-written with Matt Benton.

Matt was a member of the Coral Reefer Band for over 10 years, and he also co-wrote Breathe In, Breathe Out, Apocalypso, and Schoolboy Heart.

Before getting together with Jimmy, he played on albums with Glenn Campbell, George Strait, Eddie Rabbit, Waylon Jennings, and Sonny and Cher.

And this film is the story of the early days of Jimmy Buffett and the formation of the first choral reefer band.

And there's Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers or Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.

And there's Jimmy Buffett and Coral Reefer Band where there's, you know, it's not a band where everybody's equal, but the band has an identity and has a presence and people know them and have a sense of what their, you know, interaction with the front man is.
