Copy Exactly!

Can you, since you have an engineering background, walk us through what it actually takes to maintain a fab, right? What is special and different about the manufacturing process? What is required of this that is just, has been so difficult for, I guess, for the United States in the past?

When I work in U.S., a lot of time actually U.S. semiconductor manufacturing, I consider it's better than TSMC, even in the very beginning because Intel has this model called Copy Exactly.

They bring the EO very quickly.

They use a CPU to do all this manufacturing.

Because the way US are doing R&D is doing R&D fab.

Then after finish it, they start to transfer to the fab.

That's why Intel need to have a copy exactly.

But TSMC doesn't need to do copy exactly because we are doing R&D in the manufacturing fab.
