And this is David coming to you from the beautiful Belmont Shore neighborhood of Long Beach, California.

And I finally found that Coppertone with SPF 90.

So Snoot's not mad at me anymore.

Thank God.

Oh, it was Band de Soleil.

It wasn't Coppertone.

Band de Soleil.

You know, all that

enough, there is.

There's people that have replicated like Coppertone smell, like all this stuff.

So anyway, I've just had a lot of fun.

And it reminds me of the story about Andy Warhol, who collected, he would keep old bottles of cologne around, because it reminded him of certain times, you know, we had that episode on nostalgia.

Easy push starter.

So, uh, it was almost as though everyone had been waiting for a huge, uh, biplane to tow one of those Coppertone banners overhead that said, "Water cooling is now okay," because nobody wasted any time at all in getting those liquid-cooled models out.

And here is a major reason for it.

People were starting to build four-valve engines, and when you build a four-valve air-cooled engine, you have the problem of the exhaust bridge, which is the very hot bit of metal between the two exhaust valves.

It's getting fancy.

Uh, this eventually will become what is known as Coppertone suntan cream, which, um, you know, Matt, earlier you were describing the idea of getting a little bit of protection from the sun-

Yeah.

A general, a, a, a general sheen about oneself.

That's, that's what Coppertone is doing.

Uh, and then at this time, there's still no SPF.

so much Coppertone though before I started.

It was really, I, I was in a lost situation.

And people started getting skin cancer.

And then Coppertone started selling sunscreen and Hawaiian Tropic and Banana Boat.

So this was involved with the, right away it gets involved with the pharmaceuticals.

So they were, I believe, facilitating the development of skin cancers in people.
