Copal

It should have a scent, but let's make something that is very unique to the brand.

I really want it to be inspired by Copal, which is a scent very specific to Mexico.

Like, you know, like Palo Santo is from South America.

I think it's like to me, it smells like Mexico City.

And so I literally had pieces of copal that I shipped to and I even met with the fragrance house.

And I was like, I wanted to smell like this.

not your version of Copal, but this Copal that I'm handing you right here.

And so that's Dulce de Cuerpo was our very first scent.

The other one is the smell.

Copal, which is like an essence, right? But you don't have that because it clears the path for both.

And I feel like the sense of smell is so powerful for our memory, right? It is directly connected in our brain.

So it not only clears and puts you into a space of ritual, right? maybe an honoring of this, but also it ignites memory, right? Like, I think it sets the, what is it called? Sets the tone.

And I, okay, actually, yes, I do have a favorite.

What am I saying? Copal, hands down.

Copal is so beautiful.

Just it's the resin.

It's the sap of the tree, right? It's from Mexico.

I like dragon's blood, myrrh, frankincense, patchouli.
