You mentioned Walker there.

Uh, there's been a lot of discussion around potential opportunities for Hugh Davies, and just a word on Cooper Simpson as well for those people that watched the grand final, uh, that Peel played in against Claremont.

He had an exceptional game, but particularly first half.

Um, what sort of opportunities do you think there might be for those players and maybe one or two others that have been under your tutelage as the dev- development coach?

in the waffle, played two games and was, you know, a Sandover contender.

Cooper Simpson's grand final was outstanding.

And a Jaguar O'Meara didn't even play in the grand final.

They let Leon kick it.

I still feel like he can play a role for us at AFL level.

Um, Cooper Simpson, Toby Wahn, they're a couple of the younger guys that are going really well that could be able to play that wing.

But yeah, Dom, Dom is one that we have earmarked.

Like, he's a, he's a one ninety-one and can take a good overhead mark, but he's also, um, a six minute two-car, gets up and down the ground really well, and he was playing at Port Melbourne this year and under Brendan McCartney, who's a pretty contested game style on a really small ground.

Like he, he can tear you apart.

So, um, I think Walks is, is a really good one that'll improve and come in again.

And the other one I'm really excited by is Cooper Simpson as well.

And again, like in his WAFL Grand Final, he was close to best on ground, but just some real speed.

And so Freo must be in the headspace that they're happy with the depth that they have, whether it is Cooper Simpson coming in, whether it is Brandon Walker coming in, they're not panicking about replacing Luke Ryan, who we thought for all intents and purposes was probably done and dusted, even in the early parts of the grand final where I thought, oh, geez, how's this going to go? But then he...

Really pulled out a very solid game by his standards.

Uh, oh, it's a tough one.

To be honest, mate, I get along with most of the boys, but it's gonna be sad to, like, leave, like, guys like Cooper Simpson, Murph Reid, Andy, Caleb, all those boys, Hayden Young.

Like, I'm gonna miss all the midfield group, um, immensely.
