That is the title of the new Greg Araki film.

That's the director starring Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman.

You may remember Cooper Hoffman, Philip Seymour Hoffman's son.

He was the star of Licorice Pizza.

He was also in The Long Walk, the Stephen King remake.

Anyway, this is billed as an erotic comedy thriller, and I think, yeah, all those kind of descriptors or genres are kind of accurate.

The first thing I have to say, though, was I've seen trailers for this, seen teasers for this.

Whilst Olivia Wilde seems quite suited to a 18-certificate sex romp through the fetishistic excesses of dominatrix and pegging and being a sex slave and all the rest of it, the actor I would least likely have seen here, which I think in a weird way is why it's kind of genius casting, is Cooper Hoffman, because I don't know how to go about this in a sort of polite way.

Here, Erica Tracy is a contemporary artist, icon and provocateur.

And after one week out of college, our hero, Elliot Bell, played by Cooper Hoffman, son of Philip Seymour Hoffman, lands a job as her assistant at her gallery stroke studio.

With no experience, he is surprised to have landed a gig with over so many more able applicants.

In fact, he cannot believe his luck.

At Elliot's initial interview, Erica asks him why he is looking at her like that, and then jokes promising that she won't say anything inappropriate.

So it's dealing with wokery at the same time.

Frankly, Elliot is knocked off his feet, and both Cooper Hoffman and Olivia Wilde give the film their all, as very few actors are prepared to do these days.

The film itself is Gregor Rake's most accessible to date, is often very funny, very daring, and at times almost too uncomfortable to watch.

This stars Andrew Garfield, Yura Boris-Borisov, Monica Bellucci, Ike Barinholtz, Cooper Hoffman, Jason Schwartzman, and Mark Rylance.

Uh, I Play Rocky is officially hitting theaters in November.

Independent distributor Neon later acquired the film after a bidding war.
