You know, it was funny when I saw that your distillery was there.

It was like, holy dooly, why would you ever start a distillery in Mandarin? And we're about to find out.

Yeah, central west New South Wales, exactly halfway between Coonabarabran and Dubbo.

Mate, it's just my wife and I, well, my wife Janice and I. We're at a little sleepy village called Mandora and halfway between Dubbo and Coonabarabran.

We've been, uh, established for, oh, since 2009.

Arriving in Coonabarabran, oh, there's an iconic town for you, isn't there? In need of refreshment, we wanted to avoid the usual fast food Americanised offerings, so delighted to stumble across a low-key establishment, a quiet street, and the cafe was called Feathers.

Isn't that lovely? Isn't that great? That's fantastic.

Any acknowledgement of the great… I don't think so.

And if we can get that up and going, that'd be really good.
