Can you tell us about that?

So what had happened is my, me and my dance partner, Cooley Jackson at the time, again, we were doing shows.

We used to keep competing competitions just all through Orange County and LA counties, and we became the group to beat, the, the duo to beat.

And one day, um, a friend of ours knew, um, Jeffrey Daniel, who was from the group called Shalamar, um, and he had told them about popping, and he tried to demonstrate it for them and really couldn't do it, so he said, "You gotta come down to this club and see Casper and Cooley." So he drove down.

Please, please do it." I said, "Okay, okay, okay." And I knew who Jeffrey was, 'cause I used to watch him on Soul Train before Shalamar.

Um, and so him and Jody Watley used to, they were a dance partner, and so they used to do their thing, and they were, and I was just like, "Oh, this dude, I remember him.

He's the..." So, um, we ended up doing it.
