This is your host, Emily, and I'm speaking with Mikkel Swope, the owner of Kind Soul Wellness Center in Conyers, Georgia.

Mikkel, how are you doing today? I'm doing great.

Thank you so much for having me on.

A Georgia-based beauty school is closing abruptly after losing its accreditation.

The Georgia Career Institute based in Conyers east of Atlanta said this week that after nearly forty years, its last day of classes will be October first.

The Council on Occupational Education dropped the school's accreditation based on insufficient financial resources.

The private for-profit school has more than five hundred students.

East Palestine became like a national example of a preventable catastrophe with disastrous consequences for the people and hardly any for the company that caused their pain.

And industrial disasters like this one in Toledo and Brent Industries and, and like the fires and explosions at Smitty's Supply in Louisiana or the bio lab facility in Conyers, Georgia, or that, that deadly paper mill tank rupture disaster in Longview, Washington that happened earlier this year, and it killed 11 workers.

Like those, these kinds of disasters always trigger a sort of traumatic response in, in our consciousness, and it's certainly in mine, and I know everyone who listens to this show.

And so I kinda wanted to finish by, by asking, you know, in what ways has the explosions at Brent Industries, you know, like been similar and different from what happened in East Palestine?

Grew up in Conyers mostly.

Really?

Okay.

Those Rockdale deer, man.

Oh, yeah.

My dad moved down when I was young for work and stuff like that and grew up in Conyers, watched it grow.

Can't stand it now.

These dedicated Ukrainian Americans from both traditional Christian religious doctrines bore the burden of their country's faith and were able to help reestablish their churches back to the homeland once it freed itself from the oppressive USSR's communist shackles.

So today, this once oppressed religious community, inspired by her apparating here, pays its respects to the Madonna in Conyers, Georgia, USA, near the apparition site within the church they call the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church.

The pleas to the Fatima children from the apparition of the Madonna in 1917 to pray for Russia went unheeded, resulting, as predicted, with the nation of Ukraine being absorbed, along with Russia, into the USSR until Ukraine could free itself from communist rule.

A belief in miracles, a thanks to the country that sheltered the hardworking immigrants, now honoring the request of the Madonna, to build a church here.

The results of Nancy Fowler's trip to Magigory is inspiration, a beginning.

The apparitions occurring at the end of the 20th century on the farm in Conyers, Georgia, are still controversial.

Hence these events in Conyers, part of metro Atlanta, Georgia, is still a muse in the city, hometown to Martin Luther King, also known as the city too busy to hate.
