And number three, we need to be using more prescribed burns, so intentional burns.

So you and I decided to divvy this up.

We each talked to an ecologist and a scientist who had some different perspectives.

So that happens, and it happens in other places in the western U.S. as well.

But we've known at this point for 60-plus years that the lack of fire in a lot of western ecosystems was an ecological disaster waiting to happen, and it's happening right now.

Okay, so prescribed burns are when you intentionally set a fire and you don't wait for one to ignite naturally or you don't wait for someone else to ignite it and get out of control.
