I mean, the party membership is down to 11,000, and I was doing an interview yesterday with a Labour Party member for something else I do at the weekend, a Labour Party member of 63 years standing who was telling me that when you go along to constituency Labour Party meetings, you might get a couple of dozen people there if you are lucky, whereas back in the heyday in constituency parties, you would get a couple of hundred people turning out.

not a good look and it's caught on camera couldn't have drawn up a worse picture for labour and keir starmer's old constituency if you had peter mandelson on hand involved with a whiteboard and a sharpie pen because gaza of course isn't some passing irritation in holborn and st pancras it infamously cut starmer's vote almost in half in 2024 despite labour's supposed landslide victory A neighbour's answer, now that Starmer's scarpered from Parliament altogether, is to select one of his most loyal local defenders.
Damien WilleyHOST
3:17

Damien WilleyHOST
3:26
When Andrew Feinstein accused Starmer of causing divisions in that party back in 2020, she stood up for him.
Damien WilleyHOST
3:32
She defended him, saying he led from the top, preached unity and respect, and that they were proud to have him as their Member of Parliament.
