DeweyHOST
The news just broke out.
ViceroyHOST
That they're working on Constantine 2.
DeweyHOST
Oh, my God, bro.
DeweyHOST
Of
FrankHOST
[upbeat music] Constantine 2 is still happening, surprisingly.
FrankHOST
I did not think that was actually the case.
FrankHOST
I have a feeling this is DC's Blade.
XHOST
so yeah, that [laughs] that, that might tie into, uh, goddamn Man of Tomorrow later, which we have to talk about today.
XHOST
Um, speaking of some other shows that might tie into the DC Studios, uh, Constantine 2 is still in development.
XHOST
Um [laughs]
VanHOST
Niggas lying, man.
BethHOST
What is, what is the premise around? I don't even know what the premise is around Hereditary.
GregHOST
Constantine 2-
BethHOST
Oh, yes.
BethHOST
I'm so excited
Billy TaylorHOST
Who knows what that means, but that movie's been paused for the moment.
Billy TaylorHOST
Constantine 2 with Keanu Reeves is in active development at DC Studios, so that's kinda fun.
Billy TaylorHOST
We all have heard over and over again that Alan Ritchson is rumored to be coming to the DCU as some character.
Billy TaylorHOST
Well, right now the latest rumor is that we are going to see him show up in Lanterns season two, and he will be playing Kilowog, which is kind of amazing.
CarlosHOST
Don't you want us to have it for the collection? You know what? I will come on.
CarlosHOST
good uh constantine 2 is officially in the works at dc studios with keanu reeves returning this has been long anticipated for a while yeah there's a lot of love for the first movie it's really underrated yeah what a
IsaacHOST
fucking great movie man all the lore and everything like i know it's a comic book And I know the show didn't get a lot of love.
IsaacHOST
The animated stuff has been great.
Will StarrHOST
Uh-huh.
Ian BrownHOST
They are in production on Constantine 2.
Will StarrHOST
Oh, there it is.
Ian BrownHOST
It's-
11 MINS LATER
Ian BrownHOST
He's not necessarily the right character for the role, uh, actor for the role, 'cause I feel like he's too young and he's not grizzled enough.
Will StarrHOST
Mm.
Ian BrownHOST
Now, with Constantine 2, I think it could work-
Will StarrHOST
Yeah
GooHOST
And when you see something is still in development, and we haven't gotten any other news, it's not gonna happen.
MacHOST
I, John Constantine is a fun hero that...
MacHOST
Or I guess he's, he's more of an anti-hero sometimes.
MacHOST
But in DC animated stuff, heavily utilized over the last 20 or so years.
MacHOST
Uh, the Keanu Reeves movie I still maintain was fucking horrific.
MacHOST
Some people are trying to say that it's getting a second life, and people are enjoying it.
MacHOST
And Keanu is attached to Constantine 2.
MacHOST
I think James Gunn is trying to figure out where they could fit Constantine into his universe, and it's probably not a great fit.
Jenna AndersonHOST
I just feel like the title itself is a grain of salt because this article was like everything that's currently in the works to varying degrees at Warner Brothers right now.
Jenna AndersonHOST
And it had Constantine 2 on the list when that has not been actively moving forward since before DC Studios was really a thing.
Jenna AndersonHOST
Like Keanu Reeves and company were kind of trying to make that happen.
Jenna AndersonHOST
And we've heard nothing since then.
AaronHOST
Fuck it.
speaker_5HOST

AaronHOST

Big ChaseHOST
