Paddy Wagon, which many people will be very familiar with, was fined €3,000 and then told to pay another €2,700 at Ennis District Court on Monday after it pleaded guilty to charges connected with ferrying people to and from the cliffs without a licence issued by the National Transport Authority.

But less than 24 hours after the court case went against it, the Irish Times was able to book tours to the Cliffs of Moher with Paddy Wagon, and it was still selling trips to the cliffs that attract more than 1.5 million visitors annually.

Now, not only were the trips still on the table, Despite that court action, they were also available for a discount of up to 10% to anyone who made a booking before midnight on Tuesday.

And when we went through the booking process, we were quoted a price of just over 65 quid for a tour leaving from Dublin's O'Connell Street at 7.45am on Wednesday morning.
