Hari SethiHOST
43:14
I think they do have a right back problem.
Hari SethiHOST
43:15
Um, and, uh, Bradley, I don't think we should be relying on Conor Bradley to come back from a serious injury and play meaningful minutes.
Hari SethiHOST
43:23
I mean, I'd be surprised if he does.
Hari SethiHOST
43:25
And Jeremy Frimpong has talents, but I think he, he can be targeted in many ways as well.
Julian RichardsGUEST
80:19
Joe Gomez, but...
Julian RichardsGUEST
80:22
A bit like Conor Bradley, we shouldn't be planning anything with Conor Bradley.
Dave UsherHOST
80:25
No.
Julian RichardsGUEST
80:26
Yeah, that's a mistake to do, unfortunately.
speaker_12SOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
39:33
It's got to be Virgil, but hopefully it'll be Wirtz.
speaker_11SOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
39:35
Uh, special mention for Noa Lang, it's Conor Bradley.
Neil AtkinsonHOST
39:38
What is your favorite opening day memory?
speaker_13SOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
39:41
I'd go Stan Collymore, Sheffield Wed, uh, one-nil.
Ian DoyleGUEST
15:21
He's probably helping with little bits.
Ian DoyleGUEST
15:23
When you're in a position like that, because I think Jack is only 21, which is unbelievably young for me, for anybody, but unbelievably young for a centre-back when you consider that he's got Van Dijk next to him who's 34, 35. it's going to hold him in good stead and I do think we're going to see Araujo play a lot of games but as we know first choice right back when he's fit is Conor Bradley and Araujo can end up being a very good option at centre back probably for the second half of the season but horses for courses if they're playing a tough game away from home you would now have no quibbles with him starting up right back would you?
Richard GarnettHOST
15:57
I think you're right.
Richard GarnettHOST
15:57
I think he's going to play quite a bit this season.
Dave HendrickHOST
6:19
We won't have Leone.
Dave HendrickHOST
6:21
We won't have Bradley.
Dave HendrickHOST
6:23
Chiesa is out with some mysterious back injury.
Dave HendrickHOST
6:27
Um, I'm- I think he's trying to avoid a move.

15 MINS LATER

Dave HendrickHOST
21:44
Uh, Alex Mc- Alexis Mac Allister receives clear message from Andoni Iraola.
Dave HendrickHOST
21:51
Iraola explains major Ronald Araujo challenge.
Dave HendrickHOST
21:54
And there was an injury update on Conor Bradley.
Dave HendrickHOST
21:56
Uh, oh, sorry, what? Oh, he said...
Conor CrosbieHOST
10:14
The Reds later tried to borrow Malo Gusto, but Chelsea would only consider letting him leave permanently." Another interesting one.
Conor CrosbieHOST
10:21
Like, do you think we do go and sign a right-back long term? Because obviously Conor Bradley coming back will be a big boost.
Conor CrosbieHOST
10:27
Hopefully he can make that position his own, but he's never played, like, multiple, multiple games in a row.
Conor CrosbieHOST
10:33
There was some stat I pulled up, like, last week, and I can't remember off the top of my head exactly what it was, but it was something like he's played 90 minutes in, like, seven games in his entire career, and he's never played more than, like, what was it, like, five games in a row.
Tazer BlackHOST
46:21
He's probably thinking, shit, because you've got to fight for his position.
Tazer BlackHOST
46:25
Let Conor Bradley come back and he's boiling out.
Tazer BlackHOST
46:27
Brother, Frimpong might not see the pitch, bro.
Tazer BlackHOST
46:30
Because we don't need...
DrewHOST
15:15
And you can see because he's got a reputation in Barcelona for having bird brain moments.
DrewHOST
15:21
But if they can get him to lock in over a concentrated period of time, there's every chance he could seal that right hand spot, right? Because we don't think Conor Bradley is made of robust stuff, is he?
GezHOST
15:34
No, I mean, I think there's a couple of things there to kind of just pick up upon.
GezHOST
15:39
I think he was really impressive.
Graham RuthvenHOST
32:14
And then even defensively, Liverpool, they, they seem to have, um, they seem to have found out these last couple mat- matches that Ronald Araujo is probably their starting right back right now.
Graham RuthvenHOST
32:23
Conor Bradley is out injured, and Jeremy Frimpong just isn't a right back in a, in a back four, at least as an orthodox right back.
Graham RuthvenHOST
32:30
And Araujo is a bit of a stopgap solution where he's not, he's not as smooth on the ball as you would maybe like someone in that position to be, but defensively he gives them a bit of a safety net.
Graham RuthvenHOST
32:38
And also Barcola works back really well.
Charlotte DunckerGUEST
8:32
He can play right back, he can play center back.
Charlotte DunckerGUEST
8:34
Obviously, Conor Bradley's out with that injury.
Charlotte DunckerGUEST
8:36
He can play right back as well.
Charlotte DunckerGUEST
8:38
And you've got Giovanni Le Tuan who got injured in that, in ga- in his debut last season, didn't he? He showed promise before he came off.
