We need to see where we are.

And yeah, We were, you know, Tees Condamine took that one out there and they run a fantastic operation there and credit to Phil and his team.

Yeah, I do see Phil and, you know, admire the work he does with his people.

And yeah, I think it's just good to have that bit of competition in the industry.

So we're going to talk about that now.

We're joined by Ben and Teak Carmichael.

Ben, For many years, the Carmichael family's owned Lockenvar Station at Augustella and Lockenvar, you now own Lockenvar and a feedlot at Condamine.

Why did you decide to go down that route?

And, and, and agronomists are interested in growing the, you know, introducing the crop for their farmers.

But now at a point, I guess, on the back of some of these trials that we've been doing, not just at Gundawindi, but Warra, Condamine, even up in North Queensland now, there's people, you know, growers and agronomists are increasingly coming to us.

Can I get enough to do 20 hectares? Can I do 40 hectares? What variety should I be growing? Will you buy them off me? So it's nice to be in a position where we're able to confidently say, So yes, we can buy them off you because there's a market for them.

Yes, we have seed.

Yeah, well, I think what's come out of the trials is it's helped to, it's probably helped to narrow the focus on what material we're looking for, particularly in these very early days of growing the crop.

And it's certainly helped us to understand, and again, putting the grower hat on, the agronomist hat on, being able to really understand those simple questions.

When do I grow it? When should I plant it? What planting rate do I go at? What's my target plant population? What's my row spacing? Can I spray with this? Can I spray with that? So That's really helped us to narrow down and build confidence around, yeah, these things are going to grow at Gundawindi, Condamine, Wara, Air.

So that's positive.
