Compton High School

So, there are high schools that share junior highs in the same district.

So, for example, Centennial of Compton and Compton High...

And Dominguez.

No, no, no. Compton High and Centennial High share certain kids in the district.

Compton High and Dominguez share certain kids in the district.

So they do like a little recruiting thing.

And then I know in private school they offer certain scholarships to certain kids for certain things.

So I always kept it on a low, you know what I'm saying? But I never banged it in the neighborhoods.

Now, if I go to the Piru side, cause every time I ditch school from Compton High, right? Or when I was going to middle school, I go over to the Piru neighborhoods.

Campanella Park, Ludus Park, Gonzalez Park.

You know, I go there, man, where my people at.

He used to be my school teacher back in high school.

I graduated in 93.

Compton High, dude.

Yeah, many, many moons ago.

And plus, you know, growing up in Compton, you know, it's not like Beverly Hills.

And graduating from Compton High.

So I've been around a bunch of knuckleheads in my life.

But one thing I realized, I don't care how tough a person is, if you show them respect, they're going to show you respect.
