And the opportunities from there then extend to potentially people including headache and migraine in Pharmacy First.

And you have seen that the Company Chemists Association have called for that.

And I know that other pharmacy organisations are behind it, which is great.

So pharmacies becoming a recognised provider of care for migraine is then the opportunities from there are endless.

Whilst I doubt very much that the big chains want to go anywhere near deprescribing, they all want to sell as many medicines as possible.

Indeed, the Company Chemists Association didn't want to respond when I asked them whether pharmacist IPs are a golden opportunity for the government to solve this problem, as highlighted by The Times, and whether the government should support IPs by funding a deprescribing contract, a national pharmacy service in the pharmacy contract.

You might say a deprescribing element would be baked into a national farm prescribing contract whatever way you look at it pharmacists should be better supported by the government on the de-prescribing side of things.
