Our work is just beginning, and over the course of the grant, Trocare will work collaboratively with Yes We Must Coalition and participating institutions to better understand the needs of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated learners, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop an action plan to guide Trocare's future efforts, she said.

But talk a little bit about the role you've carved out at Nash.

It sounds to me like when I hear community of practice on micro-credentials, I feel like that's a space where you're given some latitude to innovate and collaborate with others.

So maybe talk a little bit about what the role is today and how did it come to be, and then we'll talk about what you're doing.

Yeah, no, thanks for that question.

which had received a $1.5 million grant from Strata to actually, like, continue to, like, grow and scale access to industry credentials, with the hope being that the combination of a degree plus an industry credential, let's say, in data analytics or cybersecurity, you know, these up-and-coming areas of importance would, that that combo platter would hopefully help.

We would actually maybe over time see that our graduates who did both of those things, you know, were better off, you know, especially given as we were just talking about how things are moving so fast, you know, new technologies need to be learned or because they're being integrated into so many different things, different jobs and things like that.

So, I had the pleasure of really creating a community of practice there, which was really, you know, we leveraged grant funds to incentivize campuses within the University of Texas system.

So initially, you know, we worked with nine university campuses, like UT San Antonio, UT Permian Basin, UT Rio Grande, the flagship, obviously, UT Austin.
